Safran S’pore bags UL aircraft landing gear deal

The Singaporean unit of the French landing gear company, Safran Landing Systems, has bagged a contract to renovate the landing gear of six A330-200 aircraft of the national carrier, SriLankan Airlines.


The Cabinet Office yesterday said Safran Landing Systems Singapore was selected through a limited bidding process. The tender was awarded for the period starting from August 1, 2019 to July  31, 2020. Safran Landing Systems, formerly Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, is a French company involved in the design, development, manufacture and customer support of all types of aircraft landing gear, wheels and brakes and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Safran SA.
