The ‘World Education Fair 2019’ will be held for the 7th consecutive year on Sunday 10th March 2019 at the Hilton Colombo, organized by Campus Direct. This gives the unique opportunity to meet up with international representatives from world-renowned universities from all over the world. The event is open from 10.00 am- 5.00 pm and entry to the World Education Fair is completely free of charge.

The participants can make their queries about studying abroad and they are benefited with interactive one-to-one sessions with university representatives,  Information Seminars conducted by representatives from leading universities, application fee-waivers & scholarships up to 50% (conditions apply), on-the-spot offers & admission assessments, free assistance to students from: Admission Process to Visa Guidance, information on course selection, university and visa process, assistance in arranging accommodation and travel, guidance on Pre-requisite Exams ( IELTS / TOEFL) etc. The students as well as the parents can experience the high level of accuracy and quality of the information available about overseas study options world-wide.

The World Education Fair 2019 will feature over 30 universities from Australia (Deakin University, Edith Cowen University, ICMS, Southern Cross University, Charles Start University, Tasmania University), UK (University of Law, Oxford Brooks University, University of Greenwich, Nottingham Trent University, University of West London, Teeside University, University of Essex, University of Dundee, Queen University Belfast, University of Portsmouth, University of East London, University of West of England, BATHSPA University, Solent University, University of Salford, Middlesex University, University of Chester, Birningham City University, Worcester University, Cardiff University) , New Zealand, Canada (Acsenda School of Management, Arbutus College), Grenada (St. George’s University), USA, Switzerland (Swiss Education Group), Ireland (IT sligo, Dublin City University, Technological Dublin, Maynooth University) , Malaysia and Singapore.

When students bring all their academic documents, the university representatives will be able to assess the qualifications and give an offer at the same time. For example the students who have with CIMA, CIM, HND, ACCA and other internationally recognized professional qualifications can get exemptions for Advance-entry into Undergraduate programs and Masters Qualifications.

Some of the universities participating at the fair will be offering Scholarships up to 50%of the Tuition Fees waived-off. The awarding of such scholarships will be purely on merit-basis and case-by-case and at the discretion of the University only.Some universities offer paid work placement for master’s programme.
