Virtusarecently hosted students from leading universities and higher education institutions from across the island at the Virtusa Converse 2018 at the Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka, under the theme ‘Investing in Possibility’.
A distinguished panel of speakers the event focused on emerging technologies that could form the basis of future industry disruptions. Students also received the unique opportunity to learn more about how Virtusa re-imagines the future to cater to the needs of global companies.
Technical sessions on the work Virtusa does for their clients around the world included presentations by Prashanth Canagaghnanam and Chamith Wijesundara on core technology; Darshan Gunawardena and Priyan Fernando on Database Administrator (DBA)/Artificial Intelligence (AI); Amila Dantanarayana and Anjana Chandrapalaon Independent Software Quality (ISQ)/Quality Assurance (QA); Thilana Nishan Rajamanthri on Pega; and Malaka Mahanama and Hashan Seneviratne on the Internet of Things (IoT).
The event concluded with a breakout session where students sought guidance from the speakers on their individual areas of interest.
