SLT to power EDEX 2020 as the Telecommunication Partner

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) is proud to announce that the company will be powering EDEX 2020, Sri Lanka’s largest education exhibition and job fair as the Telecommunication Services Provider. EDEX Expo, conducted for the 17th consecutive year, is scheduled to be held at the BMICH, Colombo from 17th to 19th January and at the Kandy City Centre on 24th and 25th January.

Partnering the EDEX expo for the 8th year, SLT will be responsible for providing free wi-fi connectivity to the EDEX venues in Colombo and Kandy, via the company’s superior ultra-high speed broadband connectivity provided through fibre technology with 1000 Mbps speed. This will allow the stall holders as well as visitors to EDEX to tap into the largest broadband network in Sri Lanka and experience the next revolution in wireless broadband connectivity during the exhibition days.

In an endeavour to further increase convenience for its customers, and promote a more hassle-free lifestyle, SLT introduced numerous apps in the recent past some of which include the SLT Voice App: an Android and iOS based calling application, MySLT App: providing a new and revolutionary way for customers to manage their SLT Broadband services, and Peo TV Go App: offering a platform for customers to enjoy 50+ local and international channels wherever they go via their mobile devices. Visitors to EDEX stand the chance to win attractive prizes simply by downloading any of these three SLT apps during their visit to the Expo.
