AIA Insurance is proud to congratulate its Wealth Planners that won awards at the Insurance Competition 2018, organized by the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL) and were recognized at the 10th NAFLIA (National Forum for Life Insurance Advisors). Having won Gold Awards in National and Large Category Level, these acclamations firmly reiterate AIA’s commitment to the quality and professionalism of its financial advisors.
AIA’s N.W.N Senarathna Bandara won the Gold Awards at both National and Large Company Category Level, for the ‘Best Team Leader’. AIA’s Channa Dunusinghe also won Gold in two categories, being recognized as the ‘Best Branch Manager’ on a National and Large Company Category Level.
The ‘Life Insurance Industry Sales Awards’, reviewed performance for the full year of 2018 and aimed to raise the standards of insurance sales professionalism, boosting the profile of the insurance sales profession, recognizing and rewarding professionals and improving the penetration level of the life insurance market in Sri Lanka. Winners were selected by a strict criteria and in-depth evaluation by the judging panel.
AIA’s CEO Nikhil Advani noted, “At AIA, we are changing the model from payer to partner and our Wealth Planners are expected to be trustworthy and understanding of customer needs, going beyond a mere sale of a policy. We have a team of dedicated professionals who are well equipped with the knowledge, dedication and technology to serve our customers. We believe in going that extra mile to enhance the protection, health and happiness of our customers and are so proud of our winners who have been recognized for the outstanding work they do.
AIA’s Deputy CEO and Chief Agency Officer Upul Wijesinghe added, “ We are in the business of helping people protect their families, access the best healthcare and enjoy their retirement to the fullest - this is no easy task and it is truly admirable that our Wealth Planners are able to positively impact people’s lives and be recognized as being the best of the best.
