There is a long queue at the main office handling defence affairs these days.
Usually, it is the ordinary people in the country who have to queue up at various places. However, this particular queue is made up of high-flying Diyawanna politicos, they say.
You may wonder why these important persons should line up at a government office leaving aside their onerous responsibilities.
They had suddenly remembered that they had forgotten to renew the licenses for their firearms after the actor-turned politico being arraigned for failing to renew the license for his pistol.
It had come to light that a large majority from both sides of the Diyawanna House had failed to renew the licenses. Some fair members were also among them, they say!
