All the MPs got their salary increments just before the budget in the guise of increasing the salary judges. Poor fellows.

I always found percentage increments are always unfair to low salary earners. it should have been a fixed amount for everyone.

A real "patriot" will never ask what the government can give him, but what he can give to the government so that the the President, Ministers, MPs and the hangers-on, and their families can live a luxurious life. The very same patriot must condition his mind to look at those luxuries enjoyed by their "heros" and live happily thereafter without grumbling. What a Paradise we are living in!
