Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and Northern Province Governor P.S.M. Charles discussed steps being taken to prevent unauthorized boats arriving in the peninsula from India, the Prime Minister’s Media Division said yesterday.
The Governor met the Prime Minister at Temple Trees last morning where they also discussed post COVID-19 normalizing of livelihoods in the Northern Province.
Measures which needed to be taken to uplift the livelihoods of people in the province and the development projects in it were also discussed at the meeting.
