A fire has broken out in a fuel storage tank in Orugodawatte, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Managing Director Susantha Silva said.

According to Mr. Silva, the fire had sparked due to a lightning strike. “The fire is being doused at present and the situation is under control,” he added.  (Lakna Paranamanna)
