54 Aussie- bound asylum seekers arrested

At least 54 Sri Lankan asylum seekers who attempted to illegally migrate to Australia were arrested off the Weligama coast this morning, Navy Spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said.

Steps have been taken to hand over the suspects to the police for further investigations.
