Former Sri Lankan cricket captain Hashan Thilekarathne will be appointed as a full time member of the Cricket Selection Committee shortly, informed sources said.

The five-member select committee is headed by Sanath Jayasuriya. Thilekarathne will be appointed in place of Hemantha Wickremarathne who was appointed initially to the committee. Pramodya Wickremasinghe will be the other full time selector in the committee.
