Suspect father commits suicide

The suspect who allegedly assaulted his one and half year –old daughter to death in Piliyandala yesterday, has committed suicide by hanging himself at a house in Palagama, Kahathuduwa today, police said.

The 32 year-old suspect, a Naval rating, had beaten the little girl during an argument with his wife.

I am so happy he did that. What is the point in living when you are able to kill your own child. Any eye opener to the concern authorities to at least implement the Death penalty for such crimes.
