All four divers have been rescued and are currently in Mount Lavinia, our reporter said. The four divers were rescued by three Navy boats that were sent to locate the divers.Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mirror one of the divers said that he was happy that everyone is alive. The Diver said that they swam with the current and were hopeful that they would be rescued.
All of those rescued have been admitted to a leading hospital in Colombo, our reporter said. Earlier one of the saved divers Olivenzo Arnold said they were engaging in under water filming from Mt. Lavinia to Panadura when they were swept away by a current. (H.M. Dharmpala) (Pix by Suranjith Perera)
