The road between the Kollupitiya junction and the Galle Face roundabout has been temporarily closed due to a protest march by a large number of Muslims over a film defamatory of the Prophet.

Huh? The movie was created by a convicted felon by name "Nakoula Basseley Nakoula". He was born in Egypt and is a Coptic Christian. He used the pseudonym "Sam Bacile" and claimed to be an Israeli that received donations from other Israelis for the movie. But all that turned out to be BS. He even lied to his cast, changed the title and dubbed the movie. Movie was also promoted by US pastor Terry Jones. Now who is doing the inciting here? Jews or the Christians? Terry Jones is the idiot who tried to burn Qurans!

They are not honoring the prophet instead serving the director of this movie by promoting it via stupid protests. The US ambassador for SL plus many more US diplomats have condemned this movie also the director is arrest by FBI so instead of showcasing stupid protest do something wise and productive.
