No power cuts on Sunday

In view of the Ramadan Festival, there will be no power cuts on Sunday, Power and Energy Ministry announced today.

This should be corrected as "In view of less demand of electricity due to closure of factories, offices and shops, there will be no power cuts on Sunday.".

Well I'm dehiwela the power is not there, it's Sunday and I no one from ceb is answering the phone when we call the breakdown number.. This was the case on Easter day n seems the same on Another festive day..

It's Ramadan Sunday and for the last so many hours we have no electricity. Even last afternoon we encountered a long powercut. Electricity Breakdown isnt answering their phones. Dear Minister over to you...- Kohuwala
