Bomb threat proves a hoax

E-mail Print
A bomb scare at the Gampha Court this morning turned out to be a hoax, Police said.

An anonymous caller had informed the police emergency 119 saying that there was a bomb in the Court building, prompting the authorities to evacuate the people from the building.

No explosive device was recovered even after three hour search by the bomb disposal Squad. Later the Court proceeding was resumed as usual. (Text and pix by Deepa Adikari)
