‘CM is selected only after the election.’– Maitripala

E-mail Print
SLFP General Secretary Maitripala Sirisena had said that although anyone could claim that he or she would be the chief minister before the election, the chief minister would be chosen only after the election from among those elected to the provincial councils.

This proves again how politicians are clamoring for "Manape" and how they try to hoodwink voters. This system of election should be changed early.

Anyway, nothing will happen to life-time Chief Minister, Berty because no one cares for what the SLFP General Secretary has to say. We have seen that earlier too, when he vowed disciplinary action against "doctor" Silva.
