Misfire kills Police officer

A Police sub Inspector attached to the Neluwa Police Station was killed allegedly due to a misfire by another policeman’s firearm during a raid in the Lelwala area early today, Police said.

Putha, that's why I say always - This Govt. recrruited all coconut pluckers for Police, they can only climb trees and not handle weapons properly. Deepest sympathies for the Sub-Inspector killed.

Sad about this news. A thorough investigations should be carried out by Senior Police Officers anyway. Sometimes, proberbly it could be a murder, who knows?
