Pulsara Liyanage
We who earn from out side of country and remit to Sri Lanka will help to pay all of them
Also farmers and workers and general public will bare those cost.
But least bothered or concerned about the public who are suffering and undergoing many hardships. I feel Bandulla Gunawardene should conduct classes for these rogues how to live with RS 7500.00 so that they should not ask for any salary increase in future.
To take the post for gain and to find members of your family and friends jobs is not what politics is supposed to be about. but thats what seems to happen.
why asking higher wages?. if common man can survive why cant you. one more thing, in the rate govrnment ministers earns by corruption salaries should be increased by billions
Each one of our super intelligent politicians deserve to be given private jet.
He forgot to mention that if a minister is corrupt in Singapore they would have sent him to jail , not increase the salary! And the government servants there are paid half a million rupees! How much do our people get???
Also, recently on opposition MP was sacked by the party for his extra marital relationship. In Sri Lanka, one quality of a MP is indecency, filthy mouth, etc etc....
Can your government do this ?
FYI - Singapore will never have ministers like Mervin or Duminda Silva.
Present cabinet of ministers is a set of 3rd grade. When the Thai govt . is donating $ 10 billions to the I,M.F. Our ministers are asking for $ 1billion from the I.M.F
EXPORT OR PERISH Lalith .s motto.
Who is this Navin anyway and minister Of what ?
These include ensuring equality, meritocracy and setting up institutions like the Presidential Council for Minority Rights and the Presidential Council for Religious Harmony to protect those groups' interests. (News Asia)
