The Yaldevi train is set to resume services from Colombo to Jaffna next year ahead of schedule, Indian High Commissioner Ashok. K. Kantha said. He said the Indian government was currently taking all necessary measures to ensure that the service would resume within the next year.The High Commissioner made these remarks at an International Research Conference held in Jaffna, organized by the academics of the Jaffna University.
