All cases to be heard in Colombo postponed

All  High Court cases scheduled to be heard today at the Colombo High Court was postponed to July, 27. Magistrates cases scheduled for today was postponed to the July, 23 and District Court hearings postponed to July, 25

Why have the Attorney General and the Chief Justice not made any comment on the incidents in Mannar? The public would certainly value their independence or is there a lack of it?
