SL Navy hold talks with US State Dept

Sri Lanka Navy and the US State Department held talks on enhancing assistance and cooperation, the Navy Headquarters said.

It said a US State Department delegation headed by Walter Givhan, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Plans, Programmes and Operations of the US Department's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, called on the Navy Commander Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake at the Naval Headquarters yesterday.
 
“They held cordial discussions on a wide range of issues of mutual interest and bilateral importance focused on enhancing assistance and cooperation,” the Navy said.
