Banned crystal seized in Abu Dhabi on route to SL

Abu Dhabi airport customs authorities seized 7.4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine with two passengers who tried to smuggle the drugs to Sri Lanka.

Customs men had suspected a passenger who could not hide his confusion when he was told to open his bags.
 
After searching the bag, they found around five kilograms of crystal methamphetamine concealed expertly in a secret part of the bag, Alittihad newspaper said.

Nearly an hour later, customs men discovered about 3.4 kilograms of the same stuff inside a bag that belonged to another passenger on the same flight. (Source: Emirates 24/7)

The GoSL wanted to make SL a hub in south asia. Now SL now has become hub for drugs, human smuggling, money laundering and corruption.
