Residents of Pommaveli fast unto death

The Muslim residents who were resettled in Pommaveli, Jaffna have been on a fast on death from yesterday against the shortage of basic amenities which were to be provided by the government.

The protest was started last Tuesday (8) which was changed into a fast unto death when the government representatives avoid to meet them.

Meanwhile, Jaffna Government Agent Imelda Sukumar said that she was not in a position to do anything in this regard. (By Rifthi Ali)

Being Muslims they should remember "suicide" is not allowed in Islam. Better they come up with some other methods.

That punishment Magodis is for someone who rape your loved ones or when commiting adualtry.
KIlling yourself is a big crime in any religion.
