Student of Colombo Royal College obtains first prize
A student of Colombo Royal College, Kaveen Siriwardene, won the first prize in the all island essay competition organised by the Arisen Ahubudu Foundation to mark the 100th birth Anniversary Commemoration of the late scholar Kalasuri Arisen Ahubudu.
He received the prize and the certificate from the Secretary of Arisen Ahubudu Foundation, Samanthi Ahubudu.
Kaveen has been an outstanding student of Royal College who has come out in flying colours at several similar competitions. He had recorded a triumph at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in 2017 and ranked second in the island.
