A film festival featuring 7 Sinhala movies musically directed by Pandit W. D. Amaradeva will be held in Colombo from November 1 to 3, to coincide with the music legend’s third death anniversary. The films will be screened at the National Film Corporation’s Tharangani Hall.
Gamperaliya will be screened on November 1 at 6.30 pm. On November 2 Tharanga will be screened at 2 pm, Wesathuru Siritha at 4.45 pm and Ransalu at 7 pm. Madol Duwa will be screened at 10.30 am on November 3, Delowak Athara at 2 pm followed by a film discussion at 4 pm. ‘Sagara Jalaya Madi Handuwa’ will be screened at 6 pm on that day.
