Several Muslims joined a protest campaign after Friday prayers at the Kollupitiya Jumma mosque in Colombo. The protesters marched towards the US embassy located close to the mosque creating a major traffic jam in the area. Pix by Nisal Badhuge

According to these guys peace mean violence and terrorism. Real terrorism means peace.

If they really love peace they should protest on pavement without causing traffic jams and difficulties to other people.

These people are ridiculous! As if America and Obama got together and made that film that is so trash!

In any case, religions are not exclusive to anybody and should be open to critique and ridicule. The Christian world doesn't budge with mud is slung on Christianity.

The beauty of democracy is that everyone is allowed to speak their mind and express themselves as long as they are not violent.

It appears that Violence is built into Muslims from birth, by all the violent demonstrations the world over, for silly badly made video. How many of these rioters have even seen it? They are giving more publicity to the video for free.

Can't see any leading politician participating the protest. because they know the out come. Every person who participated the protest will be screen and will go to USA secret data base then they never be able to get visa to go to USA. These demonstrations are utterly ridiculous. It just underlines the fact that Muslims are violent, by seeing all these useless violent demonstrations around the world. No one sees other sects, doing this sort of violent demonstrations. It just proves a point about violence and nothing else. The sad fact is over 30 demonstrators have lost their lives in these demonstrations.
