UNP MP Gankanda to be arrested for biting nose

UNP Ratnapura district Parliamentarian Dunesh Gankanda is to be arrested by police for allegedly assaulting and biting the nose of a businessman during a brawl at a five star hotel in Collpetty last night, the police said.

“The injured person was admitted to the National Hospital last night,” police spokesman SP Ajith Rohana said. He said police were conducting investigations to arrest the suspect.

The Five-Star hotel, Cinnamon Grand, lacks decent bites to go with a drink. Most probably Gankanda acted like "Gonkanda" to bite the businessman for not agreeing for "rewards."

You are right that they are supposed to represent the people that voted for them but how many MP's are there for their own purposes only ?
The only time MP's care about voters is before an election !
The biggest shame is he will probably still be an MP and the court paperwork will disappear.
