Former NFF organizer arrested

Suriyawewa Police today arrested the former Ampara National Freedom Front organizer and six others for allegedly possessing two priceless ancient Buddha statues.

According to the police investigations, a man who had in his possession two priceless ancient statues had tried to sell them to a group who offered to the buy the two statues for Rs, 10.5 million. Suriyawewa Police carried out the raid on information provided by Hambantota District Special Intelligence Unit OIC A Premadasa.

One of the statues was 1 ½ ft.tall, 1ft wide and weighing 17.8 kilos while the other small statue was 8inch tall, 4inch wide and weighing 1.3 kilos. (Krishan Jeewaka)

Of course this cases all go behind the curtains. main politician in there for solution.no need courts or law and order.
