Tornado strikes

A tornado struck parts of  the Maligawala area in Buttala causing extensive damage to several government buildings and more than 30 houses.

Several houses in the Maligawila, Samamawatha, Ugala,  Minipura and Horigala Grama Niladhari areas were the worst affected. 

Three of the houses had been razed to the ground. Resident of the area said the tornado struck with torrential rains which lasted for about half an hour. There were no reports of casualties.

Biggest mistake. This should have struck the parliment and razed it on the ground to be enabled to stop passing the 18th amendement.
