Chaos at Duminda’s campaign

E-mail Print
A small explosion in Kolonnawa due to fireworks caused a fire in which two supporters of Duminda Silva had to be hospitalised late last night. One has suffered severe burn injuries while the other supporter had to have his leg amputated.  The explosion occurred as supporters awaited the arrival of Duminda Silva’s in the area for election campaigning purposes. However, Silva was not present when the fire occurred. A few nearby houses were also reported to have been damaged by the incident. (ISA)

An explosive campaign ! Its always the grass-root supporters who face the brunt of all these political stunts whilst the big-wigs enjoy the best of both worlds (parties)

Sri Lanka needs to have a parliamnt with gentalman like in earlier days in order to reform the society. Voters should be wised to select best people irrespective of the parties.

Poor blind supporters, cried for money for a man with no political vision.
He only needs power to overrule democracy.
