While being misleading the country...... "Now government has opened eyes for a peaceful election"......Announcing for peace also their side and creating panics & pressure also their side...... Who will belive this? My self and my family ,relation are strong SLFP and have been supporting years and years. But this time we have changed our mind because of all of this. We think that its a very wrong decsion in supporting MR again. . So Good Bye SLFP forever..... We NEED CHANGE...... ENough is Enough....

Let not our greed over take the power of ballot.
We SRI LANKANs must learn to practice true democracy (not verbal democracy) with true to our own conscienceness.

MR is really good in this kind of statements. Credibility is a something you have to earn. MR has lost our credibility he had in 2005. We need a change now. Law and order in this country not statements.

Before General come to the PE, all the other elections conducted under UPFA government were very peaceful except VAYAMBA election under CBK. Pls. recall there weren't any curfew after elections on this government. But remember in UNP era curfew is a must after election.

Most of the guys in this blog are planning to celebrate defeat of a great Political leader. If your dream does not come true please do not claim that it was rigged in favour of MR. You have to recognize that all governments before MR were "FAILED GOVERNMENTS". Those leaders of failed governments have OUTSOURCED the presidency to a GENERAL. Wrong choice and a wrong strategy. We all have to wait to see the final verdict by the people of Sri Lanka on the 26th. So put a clamp on your expectations for now.

Preach peace in Public and Preach violence in Private. I am sad for Sri Lanka because it has given the liberty of vote even for the gullibles. The people who wants good governance will have to wait for a long time until then we will be ruled by the "Best of the Cunning".

Gentleman and soldier against a seasoned Political Heavyweight, Problem is that one of the both gentleman has the Stars shining in his path. He was born in the Chinese Lunar year of the Tiger 1950. This is the golden year of the Tiger, Tigers are Honest and Valiant !!!! Master Mahinda, had his golden years, Year of the Rooster, Kukula is nice and fat its time to eat the Rooster or simply disappear into the jungle as a Walikukula, as for his thugs, time to parade them in the high streets for about 2 weeks with a poster on their heads.
