Jamaican Grammy winning Reggae/ Dancehall artiste Sean Paul will be here in Colombo this month!
Presented by 88.3 FM Your Radio, Sean Paul Live in Concert will bring Colombo’s music enthusiasts a grand treat on November 13 2010.
Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques (born January 9, 1973) is the former lead vocalist of the Dutty Cup Crew. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and spent his early years in Upper Saint Andrew Parish, a few miles north of Kingston. In 2000, Sean Paul released his debut album, Stage One with VP Records
However, the Jamaican dancehall superstar first sparked the world in 2002 with his breakout hit, "Gimme The Light," and the fire has been burning brightly ever since. Hot on the heels of his multi-platinum, Grammy-winning classic album, Dutty Rock, he dropped the 2005 RIAA platinum smash The Trinity. That album led off with the Top 10 single "We Be Burnin'," followed by the #1 smash "Temperature." Imperial Blaze was the fourth album by Sean Paul and was released on August 18, 2009.
The Kingston-born rhyme slinger has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, and has become the most successful Jamaican artiste of all time on the U.S. charts - spurred by a trio of #1 pop singles, and five top ten hits.
Media Sponsors for Sean Paul Live in Concert are Daily Mirror and Sunday Times.
