Popular television personality Sudharma Nethicumara joined hands with Shashi Weerawansa last week to mark the inauguration of the enthralling tele series ‘Baryawo’ at a muhurath ceremony held atContinental Hotel.
Sudharma who played a vital role as a member of the Three-S combination with SangeethaandShereen, became more popular as the producer of the ‘Ganga Addara’ tele series.
Her next tele mission ‘Baryawo’ based on a story plot by Minister Wimal Weerawansa’s wifeShashi Weerawansa will be directed by Saranga Mendis featuring top stars including  Jeevan Kumaratunga, Dilhani Ekanayake, Sabeetha Perera, Lucky Dias, Duleeka Marapana, Dulani Anuradha, Bimal Jayakody, Menaka Rajapaksa, Nehara Peiris, Kumara Thirimadura and others.

The 100-episode tele drama is all about wives and the impact they have on families. Shashi wrote the ‘Baryawo’ theme song sung by Nirosha Virajini to the melody ofNavaratne Gamage. Nimal Mendis is the music director of the tele drama.

A large number of popular artistes and distinguished guests took part in the muhurath ceremony.
Mrs. Indrani Weeratunga participated as the Chief Guest.
