Pushpika de Silva, Miss Sri Lanka at the Derana/Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2011 for Miss World

The time had come for the send-off party for Pushpika de Silva, who was crowned Miss Sri Lanka at the Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka 2011 contest. She leaves Sri Lanka in October to participate in the 60th Miss World pageant to be held in London’s South Bank, on Sunday the 6 November 2011. She carries with her the dreams and aspirations of the women of Sri Lanka, and at the same time create a platform on which our country can showcase the beauty, intelligence andtalentsof the Sri Lankan woman. In order to wish her the very best of luck at this gala event, Reckitt Benckiser Sri Lanka, on behalf of one of its key brands Veet, felicitated her at an event at the Park Street Mews.
