Past cricket administrators call for good governance

A group of past cricket administrators including Ana Punchihewa in a letter submitted to the Minister of Sports Faiszer Musthapha have called for good governance and the maintenance of the Rule of Law at Sri Lanka Cricket.

    Among the signatories, I can feel the genuineness only from Sidath Wettamuny, Hemaka Amarasuriya, Ana Punchihewa and Wjaya Malalasekara. Rest, best rest.

    These are mostly false allegations. If these past administrators want any credibility for their petition, they should provide proof. Regarding the pitch fixing allegation by Al-jazeera, the ICC is currently conducting its investigation. ICC has not confirmed if these allegations are true. So why are these administrators trying to jump to conclusions?

    Remove the bookie from cricket and if possible from politics too. That will solve half the problems.

    What SLC needs is a fresh set of administrators but not the present lot or the past lot who are equally ineffective and corrupt...
