    I think they did nothing wrong if they bought liquor locally from reputed tax payed vendor. they just sell hampers with many other food items. in our village there is a famous bar (kassipu spot) supported by local government member and police or excise dept does not bother. i think large number of villages has such spots operated with belling of mathata thitha program.
