Don't lie mate. we drive at 140 the most on a 5 lane highway here. I thnk 100 is an alright speed for a 2-3 lane express way!

We all should feel happy that we could enjoy driving free of road hazards like jay walkers, "don't care' threewheelers, and dangerous motorbyke racers at least in this highway. I believe speed should be checked since our drivers would fall far short of the Autobahn drivers in Germany for courtesy and road ethics. Time will come when our drivers too would learn road manners when the enjoy riding on this road and it is then that we should see whether speed limits be increased.

When Other Highways finish Such as Katunayaka,Kandy and Inner Colombo connecting roads complete will be much much better,It is a dream when you stop to pay toll @ Toll plaza
