The tower is owned by the TRC and the main purpose was to transmit digital TV. The tower is to be opened with no such capabilities. What a waste of tax payers money.

Voices of people finally gone to deaf years to invite the man who started the tower construction during his days.

During the previous times of upcoming elections public display of items similar to election symbols were withdrawn. Examples being - any TV advertisements carrying images of the eagle were banned and also the swan shape boats on the Beiray lake were withdrawn. In this instance; wonder whether the lotus on top of this tower will be lit up ?

What a great sight. Proud of Sri Lanka. At least something to be happy about with all the chaos of politics.
