The High Commissioner of Pakistan, Maj. Gen. (Retd) Muhammad Saad Khattak met with Mr. Lasitha Gunaratne, President of Sri Lanka Rugby, at Old Sports Ministry Complex Colombo, on July 24, 2020.
The High Commissioner on behalf of the Government of Pakistan gifted Pakistan made rugby balls & sports kits to President of Sri Lanka Rugby. The President appreciated and thanked Government and people of Pakistan for this kind gesture.
During the meeting, High Commissioner emphasized on the importance of collaboration between the two brotherly countries for the uplift of our people. He further said that Pakistan is committed to provide continued support to Sri Lanka in enhancing younger generation’s nation building capacities with better sports opportunities.
