‘Gamperaliya’ village development project was initiated at the Nikaweratiya today under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. During the event, a plaque was unveiled to renovate the Mudantha Wewa in Kanuketiya at a cost of Rs 3.5 million.
Ministers Mangala Samaraweera, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Deputy Ministers Indika Bandaranayake, Nalin Bandara Jayamah and State Ministers Eran Wickramaratne, J.C. Alawathuwala have also attended the event. Pix By Pradeep Pathirana
