Seychelles president arrives today

The President of Seychelles Republic James Alex Mitchell and a group of delegates arrived at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport early this morning on a three day official visit.  . They were warmly welcomed by External Affairs Minister G.L Peiris and the Cabinet Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Dr Rajitha Senaratne. Pix by Deepa Adikari

Minister Rajitha why is he present ? He must be thinking the other way round Seychelles means for the SEA & FISH,

Seychells has a population of 84,000. Less than that of Colombo North. Why bother with them ? Are we insuring future UN votes ?

He is often not the foreign minster.

Swasiland man was here and now Seychelles, who is coming next, probably from another country we have never heard of. Why can't we we get the world leading and powerful countries to visit us.

It's a paradise with beautiful white sand beaches, importantly law & order prevails there unlike Sri Lanka.
