This campaign will lead to create a massive environmental hazard. Most of them who have participated this programme even do not have basic knowledge about the environment.. One of the person who came to m y house under this programme asked me to cut down a rear medicinal plant named 'THOLABO' mentioning that it is a breeding ground for dengue mosquitoes. I was compelled to do so other wise i would have been fined.

May this news open the eyes of Kotte Municipality who is responsible for the situation of Thantri Mawatha, Ethulkotte where extensive mosquito breeding can be seen in blocked roadside drains!
