Members of the Thun Hela National Movement which opposes the 13th Amendment to the Constitution were seen distributing leaflets at the Fort Railway Station this morning. The campaign was led by Ven. Omare Kassapa Thera the head of the movement. Pix by Pradeep K. Pathirana

According to the supreme teachings of lord Buddha, his disciples (monks) must play a leading role to bring about the harmony among all human beings irrespective of their caste, creed etc. As such, justification for the promoting too much patriotism by monks is questionable!
