Dialog Launches MMS Newspaper Service with Daily Mirror for the First Time in Sri Lanka

Now read local and international news headlines from your mobile device from the comfort of your home or on the go as Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider Dialog Axiata PLC is offering its subscribers to catch the daily headlines on the go via MMS Newspaper from The Daily Mirror.

The MMS Newspaper service, another first by leading mobile service operator Dialog Axiata PLC offers its subscribers to receive the headlines of The Daily Mirror newspaper via MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) direct to their respective mobile devices.

The daily MMS Newspaper service can be subscribed by typing MDM and sending a SMS (Short Messaging Service) to 678. Subscribers who register for the service will be charged 40 rupees plus taxes per month. In the near future Dialog subscribers would also be able to sign up to receive the daily headlines of leading Sinhala and Tamil newspapers.

Dialog Axiata, with over 2,000 2G and 1,200 3G base stations is Sri Lanka's largest mobile service provider with over 7 million subscribers and is the leading mobile operator in enterprise business solutions.
