Siyapatha Finance to raise up to Rs.1.5bn via listed debt

Siyapatha Finance PLC, a subsidiary of Sampath Bank PLC, yesterday said its director board has resolved to raise up to Rs.1.5 billion through a listed debenture issue.
The rated, unsecured subordinated, five-year debenture issue will have tranches—Rs.1 billion initially and Rs.500 million, in the event the initial tranche is oversubscribed.
The finance company said the debenture issue is subject to regulatory approval.
