Do you think this country is run purely by you idiots in the private sector?
Kumar Tuesday, 23 November 2010 04:03 AM
For a perosn who get Rs. 10,000 gets only Rs. 500 more and a person who gets Rs 100,000 gets Rs, 5,000. What a thinked formula?
Calistus Jayatilleke Tuesday, 23 November 2010 02:30 AM
A real "patriot" will never ask what the government can give him, but what he can give to the government so that the the President, Ministers, MPs and the hangers-on, and their families can live a luxurious life. The very same patriot must condition his mind to look at those luxuries enjoyed by their "heros" and live happily thereafter without grumbling. What a Paradise we are living in!

All the MPs got their salary increments just before the budget in the guise of increasing the salary judges. Poor fellows.
Ibnu Batuta Monday, 22 November 2010 03:48 PM
These politicians have mastered the art of fooling the masses by telling "people are intelligent, you cant fool them" . What a pity.
dffdds Monday, 22 November 2010 03:06 PM
can you guys in the private sector work more and pay more taxes so that we in the govt sector can get a higher increment next year?
dffdds Monday, 22 November 2010 03:04 PM
A person geting a salary of Rs 20,000 will only get an increase of Rs 1000.00. Not enough!!
Prasanna Monday, 22 November 2010 11:25 AM
no need an increase even 01 cents for public sector person & it is heavy burden for country
podi wije Monday, 22 November 2010 02:48 PM

Yusry Monday, 22 November 2010 01:19 PM

maruwa Monday, 22 November 2010 01:12 PM
I always found percentage increments are always unfair to low salary earners. it should have been a fixed amount for everyone.
Kari Monday, 22 November 2010 01:06 PM
Highly dissapointed!!!
weerasuriya Monday, 22 November 2010 12:59 PM
