Anything Mr. Wickramasinga says is rejected by anyone. Because he is complete rejection of everyone.

It is time Ranil got his head examined.
Lam Thursday, 16 September 2010 08:18 AM
Ranil selected a person who is never going to be in the government bench.good choice he cannot believe anyone from his party
Nandimithra Thursday, 16 September 2010 07:38 AM
I appreciate TNA position - they stood tall and voted in Parliament against the 18A and still against it by refusing to participate. Ranil & UNP ran away but now accepting 18A by appointing a nominee. UNP has no Policy till Ranil goes.

This joke needs to stop. All opposition parties seriously need to clean up their act, otherwise the government is just going to pass all the amendments it wants. These jokers have to represent the people who elected them and act for the benefit of the country,,,not themselves!
Wasantha Thursday, 16 September 2010 07:31 AM
Whatever said & done everyone should accept that Ranil is intelligent enough to seperate milk from the water.
mohandev Thursday, 16 September 2010 07:28 AM
Damn shame for a dictator who will never give up power but dreams of democracy for dumb voters
vicoria Thursday, 16 September 2010 07:26 AM
Yes Mr.Sumanthirans and TNA decesion is correct? A simple decesion like this our Leader of the Opposition could not visualize - haw can we entrust the country to rule?? Let heim get out of this mess and let the opposition elect a worthwile Leader of the Opposition who can give glamoue to our Parliament??
Hussain Thursday, 16 September 2010 05:55 AM
As usual he couldn't find a better choice. To err is human and to err deliberately is a dire sin to humanity and God
Bluff Bluff Thursday, 16 September 2010 07:06 AM
Whatever he does nothing is successful. Why? Is it old age?
Imran Hameed Thursday, 16 September 2010 06:51 AM
How much more devastation do you intend to cause to the opposition movement and the country. Sir, please leave aside your selfish ego and step down from Leadership gracefully.

No trust of fellow UNP members any more.
Kasthuri Thursday, 16 September 2010 06:17 AM
Accepting & Hesitating the 18th amendment!...
AMICUS Thursday, 16 September 2010 06:11 AM
IF THE UNP STRATEGY IS TO OPPOSE AND REJECT THE 18TH AMENDMENT CLAIMING IT TO BE ILLEGAL, THERE IS NO POINT IN PARTICIPATING IN THE PARLIAMENTARY COUNCIL AS IT WILL LEGITIMISE THE 18TH AMENDMENT PROVISIONS AND THEREFORE HIS DECISION APPEARS CORRECT. I SAY THIS AS AN INDEPENDENT OBSERVER AND AM NEITHER SUPPORTIVE OR AGAINST THE UNP STANCE.
Clifford Thursday, 16 September 2010 06:05 AM
why dont you quit the party and leave? Are you waiting for the rest of them to join the Govt
GKA Thursday, 16 September 2010 06:05 AM

Opposition as a whole should boycott, However nominee Sumandiran is an idieal choice.
Roshan Thursday, 16 September 2010 05:55 AM
He's not confident of his own men and he takes joy in boycotting and opposing evenyhting under the sun. This is his main weakness and problem and it is NO SURPRISE!!
