Schoolboy falls off cliff and dies

A 14 year-old schoolboy from a school in Hungamuwa, Bandaragama died after he fell off a 200-ft cliff in Pahala Kadugannawa during a school trip this evening, police said.

The victim was identified as Chamod Pushpakumara. His body was found after search. It was taken to the Mawanella Hospital.(JAL Jayasinghe)

There were many school related incideces have been reported island wide. It is an indication to implement a special to lookafter the possibilities to set an overall monitoring bodies in schools by teachers as in foreign countries. via DM Android App
