Video: Pay traffic fines via mobile phones

The motorists would be able to pay highway-code violation fines via mobile phones before the end of this year, Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said.

The new system would be introduced by the Police to pay fines for traffic violation via mobile phones on any net work, he said.(Darshana Sanjeewa)

Great! The public would prefer to pay the entire fine than bow down to some corrupt cops for a lesser charge by bribing them.
